Summer Camps 2023
There is nothing better than children spending their summer days outside in the woods with friends! Amigos del Bosque summer camps are designed to get children connecting with nature, with the Spanish language, and with each other!

June 12-15: Nature Protectors
​
Join us for a week of learning how to be nature protectors! We will learn how we are all connected and what we do affects the world around us. We will learn how we can protect the earth's creatures, waters, and land through exploration, challenges, art projects, and following children's interests.

June 19-22 : Survival Skills Camp
​
Join us for a week of practicing woodland survival skills with Amigos del Bosque! We will learn shelter building, knot tying, foraging, woodland mapping, woodland games, orienteering with compasses, and more! - all in Spanish!

June 26-29: Nature Engineers Camp
​
Join us for a week of exploring different engineering that can be found in nature! We will get to work constructing our own beaver dams, make bird nests, design and build a sun shelter for an imaginary animal, build bridges to cross a creek, create woodland maps, and build stick shelters, and get muddy celebrating International Mud Day! - all in Spanish!

August 7-10 Mini Camp: Dino Camp
Join us for dinosaur adventures in the bosque! We will search for dinosaur fossils, dinosaur eggs, build volcanoes, play dinosaur games- all in Spanish! Priority will be given to incoming new preschoolers at Amigos del Bosque.

Tuition: $185 per week and due upon confirmation of enrollment
​
All camps run Monday - Thursday from 9:00am-12:00pm
and take place at Birch Island Woods in Eden Prairie.
Enrollment is open to children ages 3-8
​
Registration for Amigos del Bosque Summer Camps opens Monday, February 6th and closes on Wednesday, February 8th. Registration is lottery based.
